Logopedia is dedicated to serving and being a firm and committed ally to the LGBTQ+ community. This year to commemorate PRIDE, we will focus on building team capacity by providing education and training on LGBTQ+ related topics. In addition, we will center our efforts on increasing visibility via participation in and sponsorship of LGBTQ+ centered events. Additionally, we will continue to offer ongoing scholarships for gender affirming vocal training for underprivileged Trans and GNC youth and adults. Learn more below:

Building Team Capacity: Training topics include; cultural sensitivity, transgender and gender affirming vocal training, respecting pronouns, inclusivity, advocacy and ally behavior.
Sponsorship: This year, Logopedia sponsored the Bay Area’s 2nd Annual Queer Latin Dance Festival which took place June 7th-9th in Oakland. The QLDF aims to highlight and celebrate Queer, Trans and Ally Latin dancers worldwide. Their mission is to come together as One in celebration of Self-love and Self-expression.
